The Willows Pre-school & Out of School Care
The Willows began in 1967 as a mums and toddlers group meeting at St Marys church hall, Wistaston. The group grew and developed and moved to a number of different locations in the local area to accommodate increasing numbers.
In September 2006 The Willows moved to The Berkeley School campus and became ‘The Willows Pre school & Out of School Care’ going from strength to strength.
The Willows Pre school & out of School care is a community based voluntary managed group providing sessional and full day care sessions for children aged between 2 years and 5years old. Before and after school care is available for children attending The Berkeley School with Holiday Club available for all children aged 4 years to 11 years within the local community.
Many of the staff have been at The Willows for many years giving a high standard of care and offering a wealth of experience. Each and every child who attends The Willows is given the care and attention they require to thrive and enjoy their time at The Willows. The Willows is managed by a committee of parents and guardians of children who are attending or have attended the Pre-school.
As a charity, any profits that The Willows makes after covering running costs are invested in improving the environment and facilities for the children.
